The air we breathe at home

What is really happening

We spend 90% of our time indoors, and in summer room air passes through the air conditioner several hundred times a day. Whatever lives on the evaporator and blower reaches the lungs in small, repeated doses. That is why a clean unit is not a luxury but the simplest air filter you already have at home.

What matters, in order: the unit washed and sanitised, clean filters, humidity between 40 and 60%, 10 minutes of daily airing (air conditioning brings no fresh air, it only recirculates) and drying the unit on fan mode before leaving it off for winter.

The evidence

What to do

Mechanical pressure cleaning of the evaporator, blower and pan inside a collection cover, then sanitising; filters washed every two weeks; room humidity kept between 40 and 60%; the unit dried on fan mode before winter. No sprays over dirt, no bleach in the unit, no refrigerant "top-ups".
